June is one of the busiest months in the school year. Projects need to be completed, lessons need to be wrapped up, rooms need to be cleaned, fun needs to be had and students need to move forward to the next grade. This week Lyndonville welcomed the new 7th grade students at their 6th grade moving up ceremony, greeted the new 1st graders at the kindergarten graduation and had the elementary field games day. Emotions were high with excited students and sentimental parents and family members. Best of luck as our students transition into a new school year. Have a wonderful summer!!
Lyndonville student artist proudly had their art on display for the annual Art Show. There was art work representing both elementary and high school students. Some pieces even won awards! Visitors had the chance to win some prizes too! Congrats to all the artists and the lucky winners as well!
Before our one week break, Kindergartners celebrated Valentine’s Day. In Mrs. Boyle’s class they came back from one of their specials and they had a candy box and valentine’s all over their tables. Kids brought in candy and each one of them got to hand them out to their peers. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun and they all enjoyed the fun before the break.
On December 18th 2015 Lyndonville’s elementary school had a winter wonderland celebration. Each grade had a presentation of poems and songs to celebrate the holidays.
